Dear Friends.

The fall finds Dayspring busy in many areas of ministry.  I am spending much of my time in the US traveling and visiting churches, raising finances for the various projects in Mexico, and recruiting students for the DMT training next January.  I am on the road most of the time until the end of the year with part of that time back in Mexico for some fall trips and our pastor's conference this month.  The children's home continues on with school and activities for the kids.  They will all be involved in a mission team coming there in November as well as the Christmas team.  David and Cristina, our directors, have a very urgent need that I share below.
We have a number of new churches in the southern states in Mexico and the island ministry is going well.  We are starting to build a new church on the mainland at Arroyo Tigre on a property that the church members purchased.  Lalo and Michelle planted that work with members of the island church.  Javier, one of the DMT students last year, is helping with the church on the island as Arroyo Tigre demands more of Lalo's time.  Joel and Ruth are preparing to receive all of our native pastors in La Haciendita for the pastor's conference.  We are expecting a couple hundred pastors for the three day conference.  Dale and Wendy continue their children's ministry in Reynosa.  Armando in Dr Arroyo is busy working on preparations for his wedding in March to Brieanna, another former DMT student of ours. They will live and work for Dayspring there in Arroyo.  Laurita is once again part of Dayspring and will be joining us to work with the fall groups and then the DMT school in January. Please keep all of our workers in prayer.  We are seeing such great things happening in Mexico because of your prayers and support.

Our Christmas trip will be back at the children's home again this year.  We will spend our days ministering in the villages around the area that we have missions in; bringing the message of Christmas and salvation to the children and their families.  At the end of the service, we pass out toys and candy to all the kids.  It is a great way to spend Christmas.  The group members will arrive on Christmas day and head into Mexico on the 26th.  We will have you back in Texas the evening of the 1st and everyone heads home on the 2nd.  This is a family trip.  You will need a passport or passport card to cross into Mexico.  For more information you can contact Roger.

David and Cristina have been the directors of the children's home since it opened.  They have worked very hard to make the home a safe place for children in need.  They have not only been dad and mom to kids that had never know a parents love but they have also been their teacher as most of the kids have never gone to school before.  Recently two of our boys finished their Junior High and are in high school now.  All of our kids are growing and learning and doing great since they arrived.
Recently Cristina was diagnosed with a large tumor in her abdomen.  The doctor did not believe it was cancerous but she is still waiting on the biopsy.  Regardless, it is causing her a lot of pain affecting her daily activities and must be removed as soon as possible.  The laparoscopic surgery will cost four thousand dollars in Mexico.  The hospital in Tampico will not schedule the surgery until the money is paid in full.  I know that many of you that know Cristina will want  to help with this urgent need?  You can donate
online at this link. Write "Cristina" in the comment box or you can donate through the office address below and mark your gift "Cristina".

2016 DMT School

Next year's DMT starts the last week of January.  We are looking for students who want to grow in their walk with the Lord  and learn how to make a difference in this world.  The 7 month program includes 10 weeks of classroom ministry training and Spanish, 8 weeks of intense missionary work in the tropics and rain forests of southern Mexico and 10 weeks of ministry with short term groups in the mountains of Mexico. You can check out the DMT webpage or email for more information.
