I hope you are fine? God is good towards me and I´m getting better and better every day though it takes its time! While I´m having my teraphy here at home, I have also been able to visit different places to testify and sing.
While I was in Norway I took a trip up to the western part of that country, after being 10 Days around the the SE part. I was invited by friends to travel up to them on an island 70 miles S of Bergen. There we had a meeting in a Free Lutheran Church, where I preached and also informed about the mission-work and I was invited back for 3 meetings next time.
The fall finds Dayspring busy in many areas of ministry. I am spending much of my time in the US traveling and visiting churches, raising finances for the various projects in Mexico, and recruiting students for the DMT training next January. I am on the road most of the time until the end of the year with part of that time back in Mexico for some fall trips and our pastor's conference this month.
Just now I´m sitting here in Norway writing these lines to you. God has been blessing in a wonderful way by His Spirit!
At the beginning of September I preached on the West Coast. At the middle of that month I went to the south of Sweden and I preached in a Chilean Church there. They had their meeting in a home.
I hope you are fine? Here in Sweden we´ve had a lot of rain in July bur August has been a nice month.
In the end of July there were Tentmeetings in a town called Uddevalla by the West Coast. That part of Sweden hasn´t been so much touched by the full Gospel and it´s fantastic all that is being done there nowadays. One Pastor from the north of Sweden came with his tent ( a Partytent ). Before he was a Pastor with the Free Lutheran Church. In one meeting I testified about my calling and about the ministry in Mexico during these years.
“I spent two weeks in Lebanon teaching future leaders of the Christian Church in the Middle East and the Muslim world”, writes Joel Mattsson-Boze, grandson of Joseph, the founder of Herald of Faith. The seminary, in Beirut, Lebanon, brings students in from all over the Muslim world. What interested me most was the variety of students who came… Read the full story on page 2 and learn more about these future leaders.
With the summer drawing to an end, we are shifting gears with all our ministries. The DMT students from the USA all went home around the 5th of August and Carolyn and I took the Mexican students home a few days afterward. Our trip with the Mexican students was a long 2500 mile trip through 6 states, but it gave me a chance visit many of our pastors along the way. We are already preparing for the next DMT that starts on January 25th.
It is a joy for me to sit down to write some lines to you again.
In the month of June I went to the northern part of this Province of Bohuslän (close to Norway) twice. Two of those meetings were held in the Ingrid Bergman´s Park by the harbor. We usually reach quite a few people in those meetings. This is a good possibility to evangelize.
This week is our time of departure to Belize Central America for a three week mission trip. There is more detail about the trip below. We cherish your prayers as we prepare to go, and as we minister in Belize from June 20th thru July 10th. We fly out of Killeen, TX June 20th. Until then, we have a busy four days of taking care of details here and final packing. Thanks to all those who have supported Refuge CMI financially and in prayer.
First I have to say that the Convention we planned some weeks ago apr. 70 miles from here was canceled, because we weren´t permitted to rent the Church Hall we were supposed to rent. I was then invited to preach in a Church here on the West Coast and it was a blessing. We felt the presence of God. The night before I participated in a meeting here on my island and another brother preached.
